2023: Building a Solid Foundation

In 2023, we made a pivotal move towards EVM compatibility, ensuring the seamless use of our NFT standards across various chains. We also developed and implemented five groundbreaking ERC standards, with two more on the horizon.

This strategic shift necessitated several adjustments to solidify our infrastructure and workflow. Adapting Singular.app, overcoming obstacles like new token contracts and NFT collection migrations, and even launching four valuable dApps were instrumental steps in this process.

While these endeavors were crucial, they temporarily placed projects like Skybreach on hold. However, fret not! This period of growth and adaptation yielded invaluable lessons, laying the groundwork for what's to come.

• Empowering Developers: We remain committed to providing developers with the best possible tools to create groundbreaking NFT experiences. Our Wizard app, alongside continuously updated documentation and tutorials, will be your toolkit for innovation.
• Expanding the Community: Fostering a vibrant and inclusive community remains paramount. We'll engage you with captivating quests, informative videos, and exciting sneak peeks, while highlighting projects already leveraging RMRK standards. We aim to unite creators, collectors, and developers, fostering collaboration and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Rewards are also on the horizon for our token and NFT holders and active community members.
• Gaming and Skybreach Reimagined: Skybreach is ready to awaken! Two new games are in development, breathing life into the lore and injecting utility into your Kanaria birds, Skybreach lands and Chunkies. These games won't replace the Skybreach metaverse but rather complement it, providing fun and utility while showcasing our cross-chain compatibility. They are a step towards the full development of Skybreach metaverse.
• RMRK Token: Now that we have successfully enabled migration to a new contract and are in control of our own swap and bridge tool, it’s time to fresh it up bringing more utility into it. To start with, discount fees are already implemented when using it with Singular. We have other surprises on the way, but for now be assured that holding and using $RMRK will be worth it.
