Last month was another month of deep work at RMRK, with some notable progress in certain areas we are super excited about.

The update that has us feeling the most bullish lies on the rmrk-evm front as our Multiresource lego has been merged as an EIP. Anyone familiar with the EIP process will realize that this lays the foundation for one of the RMRK legos to be available for use in EVMland.

In addition to progress on EVM contracts, there were also notable updates to Singular that saw us add three cool new features that makes it easier to work with advanced NFTs.

RMRK protocol

This covers all updates on the RMRK protocol being developed in different frameworks/languages.

• rmrk-evm: Multiresource lego was merged as an EIP and is now being reviewed.
• rmrk-evm: Nesting lego EIP has been proposed and is waiting to be merged.
• rmrk-evm: We created a user journey to help users get familiar with the Nesting standard.
• rmrk-substrate-pallets: We completed essential benchmarking of rmrk-core along with many other improvements which have been merged.
• rmrk-wasm: Initial WASM smart contracts development in-progress, led by the Astar team.

Singular

This covers all updates on Singular, including protocol upgrades, artist outreach, community activities, and more.

• We updated the Inventory section on NFT pages.

• We added a new Batch Add Resource feature.
• We added a new Parent NFT preview feature.
• We are preparing a showroom in collaboration with Brigada, to transform space into a unique experience for our artists.
• We held the first Singular Artist roundtable.
• We were part of Plazmatick’s album launch in Croatia. The album is currently on Singular. Read an interview how the NFT album was created.

Community

This covers community outreach and engagement efforts.
